BitburgART
THE IDEA
A large art exhibition in public spaces, vacant buildings, churches and the Bitburg town hall with a special exhibition with a lighthouse function in the new gallery in Haus Beda.
Our
goals
1. bring art into the public space of Bitburg and the Eifel and make it directly tangible for people
Also, and especially, showing art in people’s everyday lives, without any barriers (barrier-free art).
2. consolidate Bitburg even more as a city of art and culture in the long term
Make Bitburg attractive for established artists and a young, motivated art scene and thus support the regional art scene.
3. establish Bitburg as an attractive artistic and tourist destination
Concept:
Stefan Bohl (BOHL Design & Communication)
Curators:
Dieter Nusbaum and Thomas Hoffmann (overhead Gallery)
Organizer:
An event of the Kulturgemeinschaft Bitburg in cooperation with Stefan Bohl (BOHL Design & Kommunikation), Overhead Gallery
