In my work, I try to express the beauty and naturalness of wood. For me, this includes incorporating flaws, weak points and defects into my work. I emphasise the unusual grain of many woods with a simple form, so that the diversity and variety of the different characters can have an effect. I also like to combine different materials that contrast with each other in order to create tension.
