We introduce you to some of the artists…

Carmen Schmidt

Carmen Schmidt Photography Born 1971 in Saarlouis, lives and works in the southern Eifel. “Photography is a love affair with life.” Burk Uzzle No quote could better describe my passion for photography. I find my motifs in architecture, in city life, in the great outdoors and in places that are special to me.

Agnete Sabbagh

The Cologne-based artist Agnete Sabbagh is a visual storyteller; the motifs are depictions of a brief moment captured in a photograph – sometimes photo details from old illustrated books, sometimes her own photographs. Her works are surrounded by a mysterious, painterly atmosphere created by the application of an antique wax technique – encaustic or photoencaustic.

Annette Krämer

Annette Krämer’s art is inspired by the interaction of colour and line, spontaneous and dynamic. She has been working as a freelance artist since 2015, 2019 – 2023 art studies at the European Art Academy Trier, member of the Gesellschaft für Bildende Kunst Trier e.V., and the European Association of Visual Artists from the Eifel and Ardennes e.V. (EVBK).

Anne Hött

Fabienne Goerens

My name is Fabienne Goerens, I was born in 1974. I knew very early on that I would choose the path of art. I started my career in Limperberg at the Lycée des Arts et Métiers, with sculpture. I then went to Liège to the Académie des beaux-arts and did my master’s degree in sculpture. In between, I used the last year to do an exchange year in Valencia at the Universitat Polytechnica de Valencia UPV (Spain). Today I work at a secondary school to pass on my passion for shapes and colours.

Josiane Ginter

During the course of her studies, Josiane Ginter got to know and appreciate woodcuts. In the beginning, she plunged into large-format woodcuts with great courage and without knowledge. It was fun, colours were created, mistakes were made, some could be fixed, others not, nevertheless, Josiane was thrilled. She had developed a passion for woodcuts. Her workpieces became bigger and bigger and more and more colourful, eventually resembling paintings. She works with oil-based letterpress inks.

Vera Diederich

As an autodidact, I started painting at a young age, followed by courses at the European Academy of Art in Trier. Many stays in Italy inspired me to make sculptures. I produce them in plaster, model them in wax and refine them, cast them in bronze in Italy using an old...

Ralf Benick

I discovered my enthusiasm for painting as a child and enjoyed spending a lot of time with it. As a teenager, my interest unfortunately faded into the background. It wasn't until 2010 - when I was renovating my flat - that I suddenly felt a strong impulse to create...

Lutz Brauneck

In my work, I try to express the beauty and naturalness of wood. For me, this includes incorporating flaws, weak points and defects into my work. I emphasise the unusual grain of many woods with a simple form, so that the diversity and variety of the different...

Moser studios in Delta

When it comes to art, the first step at Ateliers Im Delta is always to gain access. To this end, we have developed a process that starts with the decisions that were made when the art was created. It doesn't matter whether the artist was conscious of the decisions...

Lilau is a German sculptor who has exhibited his works in numerous solo exhibitions at home and abroad in France and Luxembourg. Energy, freedom and the flow of life are themes that strongly influence him and are reflected in his art. Lilau works in a traditional way...

Peggy Wauters

Visual artist Peggy Wauters explains that she can paint things faster than she can say them. For her, painting is a language that she can speak and think. What is striking about her works is the cheerful way in which she shows the gentle cruelty of everyday life,...

Hans Vincenz

His roots come from Rhenish Expressionism. In the 1950s, he was at the height of his time.Over the course of around 50 years, Hans Vincenz's artistic development, despite his independence, ran parallel to the development of renowned colleagues who, like him, had their...

Hubert Mussner

Just like the figure itself, Hubert Mussner often suggests its placement in a space precisely defined by the artist. In this way, he creates an imaginary atmosphere in which to explore the most intimate feelings and the various aspects of human expression. In fact,...

Nico Klein-Allermann

BitburgART

THE IDEA

Our

goals

Bitburg ART - Art exhibition in Bitburg

Also, and especially, showing art in people’s everyday lives, without any barriers (barrier-free art).

2. consolidate Bitburg even more as a city of art and culture in the long term

Make Bitburg attractive for established artists and a young, motivated art scene and thus support the regional art scene.

3. establish Bitburg as an attractive artistic and tourist destination
