Anni Jutz is an artist from Bitburg. She discovered painting in 2005. After attending seminars at the European Art Academy in Trier, she has participated in various group exhibitions in the greater Saar-Lor-Lux region, Bavaria and the Lower Rhine since 2009. This was followed by several solo exhibitions in Trier, Luxembourg, Biersdorf and Neuerburg. Her own gallery in Neuerburg and then in Bitburg gave her an artistic presence in the southern Eifel region.
The artist creates her works with enthusiasm and a love of experimentation using a combination of different techniques and materials. Her technical repertoire ranges from acrylic paints, paper collages, linen fabric and coffee powder to self-made colours from pigments and sand from Provence.
Her paintings sometimes reveal objects and landscapes. Others, however, give the viewer plenty of room for their own interpretation. Their connection to the greater region is reflected not least in their own interpretations of Trier Cathedral and the Porta Nigra.
