In keeping with the motto of the Rhineland-Palatinate Summer of Culture 2023 “Compass Europe: Westwards”, BitburgART will provide the opportunity to experience a wide range of artists from Germany, Luxembourg, Belgium and around the world. From 15 September to 3 October 2023, a colourful mix of regional talents and international artists will be on show right here in Bitburg.
The series of events begins on Friday, 15 September. It will open with a vernissage from 7 pm in the customer centre of the Kreissparkasse Bitburg-Prüm. The artists present are Mozes Incze from Hungary and LILAU Skulpturen. The opening of the special exhibition by Albert Hettinger and Rosa M. Hessling in Haus Beda is on 17 September 2023.
The galleries are open up to and including 3 October. The patron of the event, State Secretary in the Ministry for Family Affairs, Women, Culture and Integration of the State of Rhineland-Palatinate, Prof. Dr Hardeck, will visit the galleries at the end of the event. The meeting point for the tour on this day is from 14:30 in the base of the Overhead Gallery at the Spittel, old Nickel building, Hauptstr. 8. The closing finissage is on Friday, 6 October from 11 a.m. together with the 160th anniversary celebrations of Volksbank EIFEL eG.
